Your Destiny Switch, by Peggy McColl

Emotions are incredibly powerful forces. They are able to propel you to overcome the most traumatic events, or they can cause you to become immobilized by small setbacks. Life will always present you with surprises, and you can only exert so much control over the world outside you. However, you always - always - have the choice to manage and balance your emotions.

When your emotions are in balance, you don’t give them much thought because you are feeling good and well being abounds. On the other hand, if you are in a negative emotional state, most likely even an enthusiastic person  won’t be able to get you to switch to feeling more positive.  You have to be the one who decides that you have  had enough of feeling bad  and are ready to make the switch (thus, the title of the book). The good news is that you are always in charge of your emotions. You get to choose what you feel!  When you choose to feel even one positive emotion, it makes a difference exponentially.  Similarly, negative emotions feed into one another. Whatever we think about expands negatively or positively, as it is the law of attraction in action.

Specific tools are provided to switch your emotions.  Peggy outlines her own personal Power Life  Script, which is…in a word, POWERFUL! No wonder Peggy is successful in all arenas of her life, as she stays focused on her goals,  empowers others, and is continually expressing gratitude.  When I interact with Peggy, she exudes well being and enthusiasm. Her loving energy, exuberance and eagerness are contagious. She genuinely cares about your life, and you know it because she shows it!

Hay House, who published Your Destiny Switch is correct in saying this isn’t just another self-help book. It’s a powerful concept and process that can consciously and creatively transform your life. Peggy supports her work with a wealth of reference materials that provide an abundance of valuable and usable  life-changing tools. Currently, she is offering a free emotional analysis at: www.destinyswitch.com where you can find out the dominant emotions you are expressing and learn how they are either accelerating you toward your goals or holding you back.

Your Destiny Switch became a New York Times best seller as soon as it was released. I  highly recommend Your Destiny Switch to help you attract the life of your dreams. Naturally, you need to be willing to integrate these tools and take them to heart.  Peggy walks her talk and lives and breathes these inspired guidelines.

Shine on in a radiance of joy!

kalina @ 3:33 pm:

I recently bought this book and am reading right through it. At first I was hesitant because I read so many books on positive thought, etc., and was concerned it may be more of the same. I’m very glad I bought it. Ms. McColl basically says it’s okay to have the negative feelings/emotions; it’s only natural. It’s what we do with those feeling/emotions after they pop into our heads that count. Some books/authors will tell us that we can’t have ANY negative thoughts/ feelings, which only makes us feel guilty because we’re human. She tells us that when we have those thoughts, take a moment and try to figure out where they came from and why we’re having them at that moment. Then we have the choice to change them to something positive. I’e always said that you may not be able to stop a bird from landing on your head, but you can stop it from building a next. Same with thoughts and emotions. I have the reputation of being an extremely positive and optimistic person, but even I have my moments. Ms. McColl gives you tools on how to get out of those downer moments. And most of all, it’s okay to be positive and optimistic, and we don’t have to let others bring us down. Thank you, Ms. McColl, for an excellent book. And thank you, Sharon, for recommending it.
